Let Your Hair Down

Sometimes I like to let my hair down and just relax.  Usually this song plays at least twice when that happens.  Bless the hope!

I spy with my little eye, one flying V, one Steinberger, one keytar and one awesome choreography director.

  • Pastor, are these men part of your flock? I believe they might have preformed at our retirement home this past week. I had a hard time hearing them clearly. My friend Mae thought they were singing “Salt right”, but I think they were saying “It’s All Night”. I thought they were telling us they would be preforming for a long time.
Mae thought the men were trying to remind us to keep our sodium intake to a minimum which is a really good idea for her, because the nurses pester her about it all the time. She seemed to follow their instructions much more closely at our next meal. I think she secretly likes the blond haired young man.
Which one of us is right? The winner gets to go first next time we play shuffleboard.

    Mr. Day,
It’s hard to say. I will add this to our Retirement Community Concerns Prayer List.

As men get older they tend to look back to a more carefree time in their life; when they were at the apex of their own personal coolness. It must be difficult to look back on those as your glory years….

Was that a Ray Parker Jr. sighting on bass guitar?
